For best results, make sure the seed site is free of all vegetation and sees full sunlight. When planting large areas, divide with a fire break such as Triple P. Prescribed fire should be done every 3-4 years to promote plant regrowth and suppress unwanted grass and woody plants.

--Planting Note: Spray 2 qts per acre of glyphosate at first sign of weeds, around 4-6'' tall. Till approximately 1 week later. Spray again 3-6 weeks after tilling and plant. Lightly roll or culti-pack after seeding. IMPORTANT: Make sure the site is free of any vegetation. Open areas with mostly sunshine are best. If using a hand seeder, add pelletized lime to help broadcast seed. If drilling, you may use oats to help with seeding.
