Oats/Wheat work as a cover crop and great fall attraction, all while the Triple P and Small Burnett start to establish. Not only does this provide a great fall plot and easy/quick germination but it sets the stage for a perfect frost seeding opportunity the following spring with blends like Frost Seed, Triple P and Ol' Glory. This is one of the easiest ways to establish a dynamite perennial plot

--Planting Date: Aug/Sept

--Soil Type: Widely adapted, firm seed bed with pH of 5.2 or higher

--Planting Notes: 1/4-1/2'' planting depth. Consider a layering method. Plant approximately 20-25# per acre in August, and the rest of your seed in September. This creates a layering effect of young, fresh growth that will bring ultimate attraction to your plot! Works great planted in Sept, also consider seeding into standing soybeans as they start to yellow in the fall
